Visual navigation may also include a visual presentation of results, e.g. the filtering or coloring of all parts manufactured from material X, or that are supplied by provider Y.
Performance & MultiCAD DMU
3DViewStation AX is a high-performance 3DViewer component, i.e. an integrated CAD viewer for native formats like Catia V5, Catia V4, NX, CreoElements/Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, Parasolid and neutral formats like STEP, 3D-PDF, JT. It offers actual MultiCAD-DMU, i.e. data from a variety of CAD systems can be loaded together and analyzed without conversion. 3DViewStation also supports several 2D file formats such as DWG, DXF, Gerber, Office and PDF, which can be i.e. compared or redacted using markups using the APIs provided.
Role-based PLM clients
The combination of a native-viewer component with the capabilities of visual navigation allows the inclusion of role-based PLM clients. Depending on your role and function in your enterprise or the process you are working on, distinct and relevantly adapted viewer component behavior can be implemented.
Information becomes readily available, access is significantly faster than before, and user error is eliminated entirely, which can so often happen when entering a product ID into a text-based search mask.
